This performance conversion is in the planning stages. If you are interested in purchasing this car, contact us so we can include your preferences. We are planning to make it the new home for the upgraded Siamese 8” drag racing motor(s), originally raced in the famed White Zombie.
In Autocross racing the Z3 doesn't quite keep up with Porsche 914’s and Mazda Miata’s in hard cornering. Due in part to its heavier stock curb weight. But it typically does better in the longer straightaways.
Conveniently (for us) much of the Z3’s stock curb weight is in it’s drive train. The gas engine alone weighs 430lbs. So pulling the gas systems and transmission will leave a roomy and lightweight roller for us to electrify. Planns for street legal adrenaline are in the works.
This incredible power plant launched John Wayland's street legal "White Zombie" into 11 second 1/4 mile times (with street legal tires!), making it the world's fastest accelerating street bodied, street legal electric car.

Our friend Jim Husted rebuild it internally and externally. He turned all aluminum and steel housings, added a center shaft bearing, upgraded brushes and a more stable brush housing (previously the front motor was adjustable). No transmission is required when you can produce 771ft/lb of torque starting at zero RPM. The output shaft (visible on the right) accepts a standard GM drive-shaft yoke.
All gas related & transmission parts (running high mileage engine, exhaust system, fuel system, etc.,.) are available. If you have a compatible gasser, and are interested, please contact us.
